11 killed by Boko Haram in Gwoza

A military source told our correspondent through phone conversation on Friday that Eleven persons were killed by the Boko Haram insurgents in a part of Gwoza town.

We also learnt that the victims were civilians rescued by soldiers during the get back of the town from BH.

The civilians were evacuated by the military on the liberation of Gwoza According to the source during the long reign of the insurgents in the Borno town.

They were taken to a place considered to be  safer by the military, who were planning a further crackdown on suspected BH camps in the area.

While they were kept at a supposed safer place at the base of the hill with some military guards. BH men stroke unexpectedly and killed 11 of the people.

One resident, Maiduguri, Ibrahim Musa, said he lost a friend in the attack.

We also gathered that some soldiers were wounded in the attack.

The victims were massively slaughtered and soldiers wounded because the so called book haram came in a larger and unexpectedly, soldier had to run for their lives.
