Vacancy for Real Estate/Facility Officer

Job Description
  • Facility/property management
  • Will be in charge of Tenant selection
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications and maintaining personal networks
  • Property acquisition and/or disposal
  • Planning and overseeing building work/renovation
  • Project planning and management
  • Architectural/engineering planning and design
  • Coordinating building maintenance and operational activities
  • Facilities and Operations Strategic planning.
  • Management of Government owned and leased assets.
  • Manages facilities related services and projects, in accordance with Department of State service standards.
  • Supervises engineers, tradesmen, maintenance staff and other facilities personnel Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards.
  • Build a network of agents and co-ordinate and develop a robust relationship with them for company by organizing quarterly meetings with them
  • Submit daily/weekly/monthly report to General Manager.
  • Independently respond to letters and general correspondence of a routine nature
  • Handle all inquiries within capacity
  • Perform to earn Management’s full confidence.
  • Assure discreet handling of all business.
  • Must be able to keep business documents confidential
QUALIFICATIONS
Min. of  HND/ BSC in Estate Management.
2 year’s minimum experience in a similar position in a reputable organization.
Must have a Proven record of managing a property experience.
Must be confident, a self starter, with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment.
Demonstrate good attention to detail, good judgement showing logical decision making, and a hands on approach.
Applicant must be computer literate with good Ms word, excel, powerpoint skills. 
Ability to make right decision
Technical knowledge of the specific area of assignment and of overall company activities
