Global Rail currently has a vacancy for an experienced Project Engineer based at our head office in Melbourne to work on a range of projects in Victoria.
Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent construction related field;
Proven track record delivering similar projects;
Rail related experience highly desirable
Responsibilities:
- Must posses ability plan, manage and track construction activities and processes.
- Project management Skills.
- Time management.
- Assisting with project progress claims.
- Sub-contractor/Supplier management.
- Liaise with logistics department to ensure cost effective and timely purchasing of materials.
- Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with the company’s’ Quality Assurance.
- Environmental Management and Safety Management System and other relevant standards and legislative requirements.
- Prepare regular financial and progress reports.
- Leading and organising projects, managing resources, quality and programme deadlines
