A suspected
young 20-year-old Omonimewa Ojo, who belong to car-snatchers gang in SW of the
country. He was arrested by ondo state police command along Owo Abuja road. The
suspected later confessed that he had been snatching car since his secondary
school days.
He further
said he was initiated into the business by his friend Seun in his village Ekiti
state. Also explained further that he first snatched car at the age of 16,
which was a big success for him so since then the business continue until his
last operation which led to his arrest.
The suspect
expressed his regrets over all his actions, though he was living large,
spending money and womanizing. Not knowing the day of the owner is around the
corner. He seek mercy from the police that he doesn’t want to be taken to
court.
